Nº 002 / NODAL
ORDER IN MOTION
Bringing scattered tasks and departments into one connected system
Summary
NODAL brings order to complex organizational workflows, connecting tasks, projects, schedules, and reporting across nested departments. It gives teams clarity over responsibilities while helping managers track progress, workloads, and performance.
Problem
Managing work across multiple departments meant fragmented task ownership, limited visibility into overdue assignments, and difficulty tracking workloads and actual time spent.
Architecture
Built with Next.js App Router and Supabase, using PostgreSQL row-level security for department-based access control, Supabase Auth for authentication, and Edge Functions for scheduled reminders and daily digests.
Server-side reporting aggregates task, assignment, and time-tracking data into performance metrics, with filters by project, department, and date range, plus PDF and XLSX exports.
My Commits
Developed the reporting dashboard, giving managers visibility into task completion, on-time performance, and departmental workloads, with PDF/XLSX exports.
Built much of the automated testing and CI infrastructure, covering unit, integration, and end-to-end tests through GitHub Actions.
